Description

A delightful dish combining tender chicken with a creamy sauce and sun-dried tomatoes, effortlessly cooked in a crock pot.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup creamy sauce (e.g., cream cheese or heavy cream)
  • 1/2 cup sun-dried tomatoes
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 8 oz pasta (e.g., penne or fettuccine)
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • Fresh basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a crock pot, add chicken breasts, creamy sauce, sun-dried tomatoes, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  2. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours.
  3. About 30 minutes before serving, cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  4. Once chicken is tender, shred the chicken in the crock pot and stir everything together.
  5. Serve over cooked pasta, topping with Parmesan cheese and fresh basil.

Notes

For a richer sauce, use a combination of cream cheese and heavy cream and do not skip the fresh basil for added flavor.
