Description

A cozy and nutritious chicken parmesan bowl layered with creamy cottage cheese and tangy tomato sauce.


Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken Breasts
  • 1 cup Cottage Cheese
  • 1 cup Tomato Sauce
  • ½ cup Parmesan Cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Italian Seasoning
  • 2 tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt and Pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Pound chicken breasts to ½ inch thick and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook chicken breasts for 5-6 minutes on each side until golden.
  3. Stir in minced garlic for 1 minute, then add tomato sauce and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
  4. Spoon cottage cheese over chicken, then sprinkle grated parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Transfer skillet to oven and bake for 20 minutes until bubbly and browned.
  6. Let cool for a couple of minutes before serving warm, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
