A comforting and hearty classic meatloaf that’s simple to make and perfect for family dinners.
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, milk, 1/4 cup of ketchup, egg, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
- Mix until well combined.
- Transfer the mixture to a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.
- Spread the remaining ketchup on top of the meatloaf.
- Bake for 1 hour or until cooked through.
- Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
Notes
Use lean ground beef for a healthier option. Don’t overmix the ingredients to keep the meatloaf tender.
