Description

Soft, chewy blondies with a delightful cinnamon sugar crust – perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for topping)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Add in the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and smooth the top.
  7. Sprinkle 1/4 cup granulated sugar over the top for a sugary crust.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
