Description

Delightful bars that combine creamy cheesecake, sweet caramel, and tart apples, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups chopped apples (such as Granny Smith)
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
  3. In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
  8. Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.

Notes

Serve chilled or at room temperature. Consider adding whipped cream or extra caramel sauce on top for extra flavor.
