Delightful bars that combine creamy cheesecake, sweet caramel, and tart apples, perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
- 1 cup graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped apples (such as Granny Smith)
- 1 cup caramel sauce
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup sugar, and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a greased 9×9 inch baking dish.
- In another bowl, beat together cream cheese and 1/2 cup sugar until smooth. Add the eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Fold in the chopped apples and cinnamon.
- Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust in the baking dish.
- Drizzle caramel sauce over the top.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes until set.
- Allow to cool, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting into bars.
Notes
Serve chilled or at room temperature. Consider adding whipped cream or extra caramel sauce on top for extra flavor.
