Description
A delicious and healthy alternative to fried pork chops, these Breaded Baked Pork Chops are easy to make and packed with flavor.
Ingredients
- 8 1/2 inch thick boneless pork chops (around 6 oz each)
- 2 large eggs, beaten
- 3/4 tsp garlic salt, divided plus additional
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 Tbsp whole milk
- 1 cup Panko breadcrumbs
- 2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp dry Italian seasoning
- 1/4 cup butter or light butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and spray a rimmed baking sheet fitted with a baking rack generously with cooking spray.
- In a shallow bowl, beat together the eggs, milk, 1/4 tsp garlic salt, and 1/4 tsp black pepper.
- On a plate, mix the breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, lemon pepper, 1/2 tsp garlic salt, onion powder, and dry Italian seasoning.
- Lightly season each pork chop with garlic salt.
- Dip each chop into the egg wash, then dredge them in the seasoned breadcrumbs, pressing firmly to make sure they stick.
- Arrange the coated pork chops on the baking rack and drizzle with melted butter.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the pork chops are fork-tender, broiling at the end for extra browning if desired.
- Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Use Panko breadcrumbs for extra crunch and let the pork chops rest after baking to keep them juicy.
