Description

A moist and fluffy cake packed with fresh blueberries, perfect for breakfast or as a snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries


Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk until fully combined.
  5. Fold in the blueberries gently.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Best served warm or at room temperature, optionally topped with powdered sugar, whipped cream, or yogurt.
