Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup milk
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups fresh blueberries
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In another bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture, alternating with milk until fully combined.
- Fold in the blueberries gently.
- Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Best served warm or at room temperature, optionally topped with powdered sugar, whipped cream, or yogurt.
