Description

A delightful Beef Tenderloin dish with a creamy, peppery sauce that impresses without complicated prep. Perfect for special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 2 beef tenderloin steaks
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons black peppercorns
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Season the beef tenderloin steaks with salt and pepper.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the steaks for 3-4 minutes on each side until browned.
  4. Transfer the skillet to the oven and roast for about 10-15 minutes for medium-rare, depending on thickness.
  5. Remove the steaks and let them rest.
  6. In the same skillet, add heavy cream, crushed peppercorns, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce.
  7. Stir and simmer for 5-7 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  8. Serve the beef tenderloin topped with pepper cream sauce and garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

For a lighter sauce, replace heavy cream with half-and-half or milk. Use room temperature beef for better cooking results.
