Ingredients

  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon milk (for icing)


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth, leaving a few lumps for texture.
  3. Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt in a bowl.
  4. Pour in melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, and mashed bananas, stirring gently until combined.
  5. On a floured surface, roll the dough into a rectangle, about 1/2 inch thick.
  6. Mix brown sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle over the rolled dough.
  7. Roll the dough tightly from the long side and cut into 1-inch slices.
  8. Place the rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown and fragrant.
  10. For icing, mix cream cheese, powdered sugar, and milk until smooth.
