Description
A classic favorite featuring juicy beef patties, melted cheese, and crispy bacon, all packed in a fresh bun. Perfect for cookouts or family dinners!
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 slices of cooked bacon
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for toppings
- Condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.)
Instructions
- Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
- Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form loose balls.
- Place the balls on the skillet and use a spatula to smash them down into thin patties. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheese on each patty.
- Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
- In the last minute of cooking, add the bacon slices on top of the burgers to heat.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the skillet.
- Assemble the burger by placing the patty with cheese and bacon on the bottom bun, and add lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any condiments to your liking.
- Top with the other half of the bun and serve.
Notes
Use high-quality ground beef for better flavor and texture. For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or onion powder to the beef mixture.
