Description

A classic favorite featuring juicy beef patties, melted cheese, and crispy bacon, all packed in a fresh bun. Perfect for cookouts or family dinners!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 slices of cooked bacon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for toppings
  • Condiments (ketchup, mustard, etc.)

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium-high heat.
  2. Divide the ground beef into 4 equal portions and form loose balls.
  3. Place the balls on the skillet and use a spatula to smash them down into thin patties. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side, then flip and place a slice of cheese on each patty.
  5. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burgers are cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. In the last minute of cooking, add the bacon slices on top of the burgers to heat.
  7. Toast the hamburger buns on the skillet.
  8. Assemble the burger by placing the patty with cheese and bacon on the bottom bun, and add lettuce, tomato, pickles, and any condiments to your liking.
  9. Top with the other half of the bun and serve.

Notes

Use high-quality ground beef for better flavor and texture. For extra flavor, consider adding garlic powder or onion powder to the beef mixture.
