A quick and easy low-calorie chocolate mug cake that satisfies sweet cravings in just two minutes.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons whole wheat flour
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/8 teaspoon baking powder
- 3 tablespoons milk (almond, oat, or your choice)
- 1 tablespoon sweetener (honey, stevia, or sugar)
- Optional: dark chocolate chunk for the center
Instructions
- In a large mug, mix together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking powder.
- Add the milk and sweetener, and mix well with a fork until no lumps remain.
- If desired, press a chocolate chunk into the center of the batter.
- Microwave for 1 minute. Check doneness; if it looks slightly soft, it’s done. Do not overcook.
Notes
For a vegan version, use plant-based milk and substitute honey with maple syrup or stevia. Add-ins like chia seeds or instant coffee can enhance flavor.
